The exports of the three major plates accounted for 68% of the total exports of the city, and the export of mechanical and electrical products ranked second in the whole province. In the view of the international market, Xiangyang has maintained rapid growth in the export of major markets and was deeply integrated into the construction of "one area and one road". In the first half of the year, Xiangyang exported $157 million, $144 million and $88 million to ASEAN, the United States and the European Union, respectively, and increased by 51.9%, 10.7%, and 8.3%, respectively. The export of the "one road" along the market is 557 million US dollars, up 49.3%, accounting for 53.6% of the total export of the city.

In terms of trade patterns, general trade exports have grown rapidly. In the first half of this year, Xiangyang's general trade pattern was exported to US $1 billion 17 million, an increase of 36.12% over the previous year, accounting for 97.9% of the total exports of the city, representing a 1.8 percentage point increase over the same period last year.
